This guide gives an indication of costs to you. If you wish to discuss your treatment plan or options, please book a consultation with your dentist.

  • Standard Oral Examination regular patient £60.00

    This price will be a full oral examination to exclude small intra-oral radiographs (x-rays) as clinically necessary. Small dental X-rays are charged at £10.50 each.

  • New Patient Examination £70.00

    This price includes the above for standard examination, dental and medical history check and full consultation with the dentist regarding any future treatment that may be necessary. X-rays will be charged at £10.50 for each small image taken.

  • Hygienist Visit from £50.00

    Our experienced hygienists are an extremely important part of our team, helping to encourage and motivate you to maintain and improve the health of your mouth.

  • Synthetic Resin Restorations/fillings from £100

    We do not use silver-mercury amalgam (gray) fillings in this practice Composite (white) fillings are used in front and back teeth. Factors of time, quantity and size of fillings will affect the price of restoration. Price start from £100 for a single surface white filling. A quote will be given at the examination appointment.

  • Extractions from £102

    Depending on the difficulty of the extraction the price may vary accordingly. A basic/ simple extraction from £102.00 Complex extractions will be discussed and a price range given.

  • Root canal treatment from £236 - £450 depending on complexity

    Depending on the type of tooth and therefore the number of canals and disease present. From £236-£450

  • Dentures Full Upper and Lower from £1000 depending on complexity

    (This price includes all laboratory fees and appointments with the dentist)

  • Partial Dentures - guide price is £525 for a 5-teeth acrylic denture

    Quotes for all partial denture work will be provided according to complexity. A guide price for a 5-teeth acrylic denture is £525. Payment can be staged over the visits required but final payment must be received before fitting. Any adjustments required after fitting the denture will be provided as a free service.

  • Crowns £480-£650 depending on materials used

    There is an enormous range of differing materials providing enhanced strength and cosmetic appearance. These advantages come at a cost of materials and abilities of the technician. Some modern porcelains such as zirconium add strength comparable to traditional metal crowns. Zirconium bonded with traditional feldspathic porcelain also gives a more aesthetic result than grey metal crowns.

  • Veneers from £420 per unit and Bridges from £525 per unit

    These are available and will be disused at the consultation and price given depending on the type of porcelain used. Porcelain veneers start from £420. Bridges start from £525 per unit

  • Zoom Tooth Whitening from £520

    After a consultation with the dentist a 2 hour appointment will be booked with the dental hygienist who will carry out the treatment. The treatment includes home whitening trays and bleach.

  • At Home Tooth Whitening from £350

    After consultation with the dentist impressions (moulds) of your teeth will be made and the dentist will explain and show you how to apply the whitening gel inside your whitening trays. This treatment usually work better for people who suffer from sensitive teeth and for people who want to achieve the same result as Zoom Tooth Whitening but but at a lower cost and they are not in a hurry.

  • Occlusal Appliances from £189-£315

    These can help with preventing tooth wear, broken teeth and fillings and disturbed sleep e.g. snoring and headaches from tooth grinding and clenching.

We have listened to your comments and requests regarding a cheaper and more affordable way to pay for your treatment.

We offer  in-house private dental health schemes from Denplan Ltd trading as Simply Health Professionals  for individuals and families including children. For patients who prefer to pay for their private treatment on a pay-as-you-go basis, payment is required after each treatment appointment. Receipts are available upon request if you wish to claim via your own private dental insurance scheme. We accept cash, cheque or credit card payments.

Complex treatment may require a deposit if a dental technician’s fee is involved at the commencement of treatment.

For more expensive and complex treatments, you may be able to qualify for interest-free finance subject to acceptance by our approved lenders. Please inquire at reception for further details.

24 hours’ notice would be appreciated if you need to cancel an appointment. If you must cancel an appointment on the day and we are unable to reallocate the dentist’s time, a booking fee may be levied at the dentist’s discretion at the rate of £2 a minute of booked time wasted.
